Answers to the most common questions about the smartphone.md price comparison site

We automatically collect phone prices from online stores in Moldova and update them regularly. Pick the phone you're interested in and instantly see which store has the best price.

Prices sync automatically every few minutes from partner stores. The last update time for each offer is shown directly on the product page.

Click "Add to Compare" on any phone's page (up to 3 products at once), then go to the "Compare" page to see specifications and prices side by side.

Yes. On the phone's page, click "Price Alert", enter your email and the price threshold you want — we'll automatically email you as soon as the price drops.

Each store sets its own prices, promotions and stock independently. That's why we recommend always comparing offers before buying.

We don't sell phones ourselves — we redirect you to the chosen store's offer, where you complete the order directly with that store.

Your subscription is active immediately, no confirmation needed. At the bottom of every email you'll find "Manage subscription" and "Unsubscribe" links. On the management page you can choose to receive every new article, a weekly or a monthly digest, stop price alerts for a specific phone, or unsubscribe from everything in one click.

We check store offers automatically several times a day. If a store stops listing a phone (out of stock or discontinued) for more than two weeks, its offer is no longer counted in the lowest price and is shown separately as unconfirmed. That way you only see prices you can actually find in the store.

We show the retail price published by the store, which in Moldova includes VAT. Delivery costs and any card or instalment discounts differ between stores and are shown at checkout on the store's website.

Storage (128/256/512 GB), RAM and sometimes colour change the price, so each variant has its own page. We always compare exactly the same configuration across stores, so the price difference is real and not caused by a different memory size.

Add both to "Compare" to see their specs side by side, then check the price history chart: a model that has just dropped in price is often a better buy than one at its period high. Our blog guides explain what matters at each budget.
